My suggestion is that you find some system that does support
POPmail and ask them for an email account there. Then set itup to call
that system rather than your host for POPmail.

I am not sure about the Print and View Document source, but there
is definately a non32 bit version. The last official release was 16bits,
the 32bit is an alpha prototype. I have the 16bit version on my
machine. Still waiting to get my SLIP account though.

There is no DOS version of Winsock (which does stand for Windows Socket).

I'll second that recommendation. QVT/Net's telnet client is probably one of
the best/complete shareware/freeware telnet selections. I use the telnet that
comes with Chameleon 4.0 and it works very well. But that's part of a bigger
package ...

Subject: Re: NNTP server won't give me access
You should contact the system administrator at Columbia since there isn't much
we can help you with. If you have a dial-up IP (SLIP or PPP, for example)
account with Columbia, I don't see why they wouldn't let you read/post from
their NNTP server. Having an regular UNIX account doesn't necessarily mean you
can access their NNTP server ...
